BOTANICAL INGREDIENTS

Pearl Powder
Made from freshwater pearls. Anti ageing properties providing skin nutrition. Contains a number of amino acids, over 30 trace minerals and a high concentration of calcium. Pearl powder can stimulate the skin’s fibroblasts, help regenerate collagen, and accelerate healing of certain skin conditions, wounds and burns. Pearl powder imparts a glowing and lustrous complexion.

Uva-Ursi Leaf
A botanical skin lightener that contains a natural form of hydroquinone. Useful for even skin pigmentation. Contains tannins that have astringent effects.

Aloe Vera
Anti-bacterial, anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and healing moisturiser. Is particularly helpful to use on sensitive or dry skin. A rich source of many vitamins including A, B, and C. It is used to brighten skin tone and minimize minor pigmentation issues.

Chamomile
Contains azulene, an ingredient known for its calming, anti-inflammatory, and refreshing benefits. Helps to rejuvenate the skin and calm itching commonly associated with various skin irritations.

Kiwi Extract
Contains large amounts of vitamin C. Works to prevent rough, dry skin.

Rosehip
Full of beauty-boosting vitamin A, vitamin C and the essential fatty acids omega-3 and omega-6. Vitamin A promotes healthy skin cell rejuvenation, which causes skin to glow and appear fresh and supple. Vitamin C reduces the appearance of dark spots, ageing spots and hyper-pigmentation. Improves complexion and moisture retention which helps reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

Raspberry Oil
Moisturising with very high levels of phytosterols which help to reduce trans epidermal water loss. Repairs skin damaged by environmental factors including sun damage. High content of alpha linolenic acid. Contains elegic acid whic reduces the destruction of collagen and inflammatory response, improving skin elasticity, suppleness and flexibility, while softening and smoothing the look of wrinkles, fine lines and sagging skin. Protects against the sun by absorbing UV-B and UV-C. Very high in Vitamin E which protects from oxidant damages and has moisturising, anti-inflammatory, healing, anti-ageing effects.

Licorice
Anti-irritant and anti-inflammatory. One of its components, known as glabridin, is a potent antioxidant and anti-inflammatory ingredient (for sensitive, reddened skin). Effective for improving dark spots and hyperpigmentation (roots contains constituents that interrupt the stimulation of an enzyme that activates melanin production). Helps to reduce skin redness, inflammation, and flushing. Balances skin tone. Effective against acne-causing bacteria.

Vitamin E
Antioxidant. Protects from oxidant damages and has moisturising, anti-inflammatory, healing, anti-ageing effects. Reduces UV-induced erythema, edema, sunburn cell formation, and lipid per-oxidation.

Used as antioxidants to slow skin deterioration caused by exposure to the air. Reduces the appearance of brown spots and other types of sun damage. Helps boost healthy collagen production. Reduces skin inflammation and irritation. Fades post-breakout red marks by improving skin’s natural healing response. Boosts your skins defense against UV exposure and protects from oxidant damage.
